He's already an iron man. Now he wants the mountain.
The Mountain is a four-minute documentary profile of Dewald Grobbelaar — an endurance athlete who has already crossed an Ironman finish line and set his sights on the most punishing road race in South Africa.
The film doesn't ask how he trains. It asks why a man who has already proved the impossible to himself would sign up to suffer again. The answer isn't in what he says — it's in the dark mornings, the accumulated kilometres, and the way he talks about the road ahead like it owes him nothing.
Shot in and around Somerset West across early-morning sessions, built footage-first the way everything at Frequency Creative is built: camera in the room before the story was decided, structure found in the edit.
